Description
1966 Ford Galaxie. The clue was plenty of 'SPACE' for the kids! They went with the name Galaxie to take advantage of all the interest in the space race at the time.

a friend had a 65 which looked very much like the 66. he let me drive it some, but it was not high performance. more of getting from point A to B and back again outstanding capture

Back in the 70's I had a 66 Galaxie 500. The back of the roof was a little different on mine. The roof here looks like a 65 instead of a 66. Huuuuuge trunk too. My car thought it was a pickup truck. Beautiful shot!
