Description
"Spock's Brain" is the first episode of the third season of the original science fiction television series Star Trek, first broadcast September 20, 1968. It was the first episode to air after NBC moved the show from 8:30 P.M. to 10 P.M. on Friday nights. It was repeated July 8, 1969. It is episode #56, production #61, written by Gene L. Coon (under the pseudonym Lee Cronin) and directed by Marc Daniels.
In this episode, an alien female beams aboard the ship and, after incapacitating the rest of the crew, surgically removes Spock's brain. Kirk and the crew have just hours to locate and replace it before Spock's body dies.
Spock's Brain
Right now I'm feeling sick
I think I'll be a lunatic
My senses are out of control
I am a vulcan without a soul
Mr Spock's brain
Something has stolen it again
Ran away with my very special brain
We have searched all of the Enterprise
Negative result, this isn't nice
Where is my brain
Oh, what a pain
I'm going insane
We have to find it within an hour
Otherwise it will lose it's power
The price of a new one is too high
Will I survive or will I die
Where is my brain
Oh, what a pain
I'm going insane
Mr Spock's brain.

"Brain? Brain? WHAT IS BRAIN?" I loved that episode, and all the others if truth be told. Had all the episodes on VHS tape for a while then let Sarah have them when she moved. Wonderful image and memory!

I recall the story.I am an avid fan , but I like the Enterprise Star Trek the best, but it is gone unfortunately outstanding graphics
Very cool work and rememberance
Awesome episode!!... It was great, and the part I liked the best was towards the end that it was Mccoy who had to place it back in his head, and the knowledge injection they gave me starts to wear off... and then spock himself had to help him... Sweet.
