very nice painting , well done
Helle this picture is superb. Already the format tells a lot about the landscape and then the colors and technique! Wonderful!
I haven't seen this before Helle. It is a lovely painting which I thought at first was a photograph with a bit of PW.
Lovely painting. Beautiful long frame
Superb.

Excellent! I should like this place as much as I love your painting.
I am so thrilled you shared this painting with us Helle, it made my day. You are so talented, and I always enjoy your paintings.
Splendid panorama and colors my friend
Oh, I'm sure I would have remembered seeing this if you'd posted it before!! The light is so golden and gorgeous, and I have your South beach firmly in my mind as a place to visit. :) I would not have forgotten these nice boats and your beautiful painting. I'm glad you posted this!
Outstanding work Helle. God bless.
Lovely Helle!
love it!
Gorgeous painting, - love it ;o)))))))))
Excellent work! This is beautiful!
Jane Sibbery (one of my favorites,) sang a story song about the beginning of time, where everyone lived in boats because there was no land yet, just endless sea. In this song, she declared that she once saw a guy who had a boat with wheels, and she said: "You're a bit early, but I know how you feel." I thought of that when I looked at the thumbnail of this marvel. A boat with wheels! Well...OK, not exactly, but visually, that there boat has wheels! Cool!!! Your painting is fantastic. It has a romantic feel to it, but it's also very impressionistic in a way, not traditionally, but there are parts where your brush strokes are obvious and where the canvas is allowed to have it's moment on the stage too. That's what makes it impressionistic for me, because it gives something else to the image. A touch. And then there's the composition. Such open breathing room...such space! And the colors dance. WOW! I'll comment on the companion piece tomorrow. It's past my bed time and I have to be up at an insane, criminal hour! UGH! But I hope that this image will help my good dreams.
this is cool. very well done
Gorgeous - this can hang next to today's painting! You are soooo good!
Beautiful! Wonderful colors. I love the shading of the ground to the left of the boats and the streaks of red. The colors add wonderfully to the depth of the painting with the bluer tones in the distance, the warm tones in the foreground and the lighter yellow on the first boat. Beautifully done!
