RESTLESS IS THE SEA by Dieter Carlton
a poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
Like graceful dancers to and fro
The waves upon each other flow
Their profiles bobbing up and down
Like children prancing round and round
As though Poseidon could not sleep
The Kraken rising from the deep
And like a distant chorus loud
Or large, unruly, noisy crowd
Tall waves upon them cast their rage
Great rocks that show no signs of age
So much, so vast as it can be
How very RESTLESS IS THE SEA
This work was produced using Maya, DAZ Studio and Bryce. It is not a photograph, there are no photographs embedded within the image nor were any photographs used in creating it. It is also NOT a screen shot nor was it derived from any other sources such as video games or studio animations. It is an original work created exclusively in a virtual space on a personal computer (like forming a clay sculpture or building a studio set in one's backyard or garage). Each such work takes 30 to 50 hours to complete.

Very nice, I know how difficult it is to model/texture breaking waves/white waters. The only critism is that the water texture near the bottom/front of the image is a bit pixelated. Other than that it is a fantastic image with a great atmosphere.
