Thought I'd have a play with the built in material presets with Octane. Glass comes out really well.
So... apart from the cost, why aren't you rendering in Octane?
So guys, no nuddy bums in this one.

Looks excellent Dean, the answer to your question, too dear and I have the wrong graphic card! Oh and it sounds bloody hard to get into, I'll stick with Photoshop!
The cost will usualy do it, plus don't have Poser Pro 2012 either. Just got Reality 3, so working on learning that.
Why not Octane? Mainly, it's the lack of a DAZ|Studio plugin. Once that's sorted, I'm not sure I'll have the willpower to resist shelling out... Especially if I keep seeing work of this caliber. Though I do miss the nuddy bums. ;)

Got Octane, and renders take so much time that I give up. I guess my graphic card is too slow :(

Impressive and refreshing
Personally I fond that Octane demand for RAM is way too high for any complex scenes. Usually 2 characters and a some items in the back and I run out of RAM (1.5Gb) You kill half the textures and still struggle to make it work. I am still looking at something like Maxwell Renderer or similar product. Octane brilliant only for simpler scenes - unless I missed something in the manual :)

Thats my issue with Octane - I need an Nvidia Card and after spending a shed load on my Radeon GFX card - I'll pass regrettably
Cost is pretty much the main reason.
This is an awesome render! True photo quality. I'm stuck with P7 until doomsday plus I have no patience for long renders.
I know, I KNOW!!! It's on my "to-be-purchased" list...Question though, Deane...Are you using just the standalone version, or are you using the Poser plug-in?
