That's definitely a dam tall dam! I looked at this photo, and said "Dam!" Tara's really got herself a dam fine shot, here - and a vertical pano to boot.... Dam! OK - enough dam puns, already... What a shot - almost gives me vertigo! So where WERE you standing? Or have you mastered levitation? LOL!

This is amazing.
Can you imagine a little Dutch boy sticking his finger in that plugging it with...well...probably his index finger, as I often imagine it. Where would he even stand? And, more importantly, why am I going on about it? Inquiring minds want to know. You know how some photos make you want to use a word that you've been waiting to use for a while? Voluptuous is one of those words. Another one is Vertiginous. I have a thing for "V" words, which probably stems from the way that letter looks at the beginning of a particular name, of a particular Russian--the one apt to describe images like this as "enough good." Or maybe it's something else all together, but in this case, I realized that I've been wanting to use the word "vertiginous" for a while now, and this shot with its voluptuously vertiginous vantage point provided just the opportunity, and also shows--beyond all doubt--that a photo can be voluptuous and vertiginous; which is two for the price of one! And to top it off, it's a gorgeous shot! It's so...tall. It's either a long way up or a long way down, and only a ninja photographer could get this without a touch of altitude sickness, light-headedness, or the sudden urge to get as flat as possible against the lowest horizontal (and stable) surface. I'm impressed. This is a dam good shot. (And no, I've never been above the desire to fire off a cheap pun.)
