Description
"Glow" was taken in my local river valley at the sunset golden hour. I was actually there to test out my tokina wide angle 11-16 mm on my new nikon. But I had the fuji x20 with me and took some shots from the same views for comparison. With a bit of postwork I think this one turned out quite nice.
Now that I'm getting the hang of getting the exposures right, I quite like shooting into a low angle sun.

Roxy, thank you so much for sharing this splendid capture with us. This is such a beautiful setting and I love that glow.
It is a beautiful shot...
beautiful mood you have captured
Beautiful composition and colors! I like how the branches cover most of the frame yet are thin enough that you can still see all the detail in the sky and refection. It is really cool how the reflection goes from the golden color to deep reddish brown at the lower left corner. Very nice!!!
A beautiful golden glow. This reminded me of a Maxfield Parrish painting that used the same kind of yellow tones...
wowow

Really nice shot! Beautiful light and color. Definitely a magical time of day.
Shots like this are so beautiful, the trees are silhouetted, they look etched in india ink against the golden background. A beautiful time for photos
A spectacular sunset and a gorgeous capture through the bare branches.
