Description
As I shot in this kids park I imagined this toy train waiting for his friend Sam to come play on him again once winter's grip has passed.
Photo test with my new FujiX20 backup camera.

GREAT shot here! This one tells such a story... and if you listen really closely, maybe you can hear the ghosts of childhood. Beautiful, Roxy! :)
Wonderful and cool capture Roxy
Excellent composition and cool moody shot. The b&w puts a slightly darker mood to this image of an empty playground. Empty playgrounds already seem to have a solemn tone to them in images. Beautiful work.
What a fantastic photo Roxy, and I very much enjoyed the story you came up with behind it.
Really neat image
Scheint immer noch schläfrig den Ort .... warten Sam und seine Freunde Alice, Tom, Jim, Ben ...... Ich hoffe, dass der Zug voll ist. GREAT capture!!!
Another fine composition - well seen & captured. You new camera seems very capable (in the hands of a capable photographer, of course)...
Very nice – full range of gray tones Ansel – I mean Roxy :)
'Sam' probably wants to go play but mom won't let him because he'd come home a slushy, wet, muddy mess. Lol. Great image Roxy!!
Beautiful image and memory!!!
Wonderful capture and great image!!!
I agree with Art, my mind went immediately to the dark side, as it most often does, as I viewed this one... Beautiful shadows and a thought provoking scene Roxy.
I remember the days it felt like the playground was calling - recess was so cool.
Nice shot!!!!!
exellent
Beautiful shot!
Cool
Things involving stuff for kids is generally very haunting when there are no kids around, and even more haunting when there's snow in it. Fantastic. And since I'm actually more of a writer than a photographer/visual artist, I can say that this really tickles the word-dealing part of my brain and also makes me think of what an evocative book cover this would be. Of course, I'm one of those people who thinks of book covers as their own form of art, sometimes better than the books they illustrate, and this is one of those Vintage Contemporary sorts of images I like so much. You have quite an eye for this kind of stuff, and playing around with new cameras often stimulates the eye, I've found...and yeah...I want a new camera: not a replacement, but just a snazzier companion for my trusty, work-horse of a point and shoot with just the right number of manual functions to remain useful to someone who spins and jiggles rather than points and shoots.
Charming idea :)
