Description
The wonderfully named Catbells, a favourite fell for walking of ours. That was many years ago when it was a morning stroll. Now I get out of breath looking at it! It was a bit of a slog up the slope, from right to left was the usual way up. The view was well worth it, over Derwent water and the Newlands valley. The last time we climbed it the wind was so strong you stooped very low on the summit be avoid being blown over!

Beautiful picture!!!!
Nice IR Kevin. I like the sweeping view here. I'd be just like you worn out just looking :)
Certainly the labor of the climb is worth it! Beautiful scene!
I love this, it has such a portentous feel. Excellent shot!!
What an experience that must have been! I do love these IR photos of yours, Kevin.
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
A well composed shot, my friend. Beautiful, peaceful and I'm sure still 'zip-you-jacket-up-tight' cold. We've seen the sun the last two days up here in Glasgow but we expect the snow, still lying in the hills, to return shortly ;o) Warm regards, John.
