Description
A close up on one of the leaning exposed trees on Friar's Crag.
This was done with my infrared camera to produce the foliage white glow. I tried this one in mono but went for IR colour in the end. I hope you like this one. I am always amazed by the roots and how they grip the rocky crags.

Beautiful effect!!!!
Wonderful image. Almost looks like a painting at first.
Fabulous shot... wonderfully done!!!
Truly stunning pic, Kevin! The Geranium Maderemse seeds were from Chilterns..my own seed next year maybe!
Your work on this has produced a splendid result, lovely image.
Great false colour shot Kevin, this is my favourite post production of IR shots. The good old channel swap :)
That is amazing! You totally had me that these were frost covered pine trees. If I ever upgrade to a higher end DSLR I am going to turn my current one into an infra-red.
superb, i love that root system
Very beautiful shot,love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice effects and work!
Nice picture! What filter do you have in your camera ? I'm surprised the sky did not turn darker than that. But then again, I have a 840nm filter in mine.
This is absolutely lovely; I love the effect here!
I love this; what a scene and yes, them roots are way cool. Reminds me a lot of the trees you see at Gooseberry Falls, along the north shore of Lake Superior.
