L’Arrache-cœur, dernier roman signé Boris Vian, est publié en 1953. Il était conçu comme le premier volet d’une trilogie intitulée Les Fillettes de la reine, qui n’a jamais vu le jour.
L’Arrache-cœur est un roman où se mêlent la poésie, la fantaisie, l’émotion et l’absurde. Il est divisé en trois parties et narre le parcours de Jacquemort, psychiatre nouvellement arrivé au village, et de Clémentine, mère de triplés (« trumeaux ») qui éprouve pour ses enfants un amour qui deviendra possessif et obsessionnel.
Les thèmes développés dans ce roman (« psychanalyse », interrogations sur l’inconscient de chacun) et le style d’écriture très imaginatif peuvent faire penser au surréalisme.
The puller heart, signed last novel Vian, was published in 1953. It was designed as the first part of a trilogy entitled The Girls of the queen, who was never born.
The puller heart is a novel that combines poetry, imagination, emotion and absurd. It is divided into three parts and tells the journey of Timortis psychiatrist newly arrived in the village, and Clementine, mother of triplets ("piers") who feels love for his children to become possessive and obsessive.
The themes in this novel ('psychoanalysis' questions about the unconscious of each) and the writing style may suggest imaginative surrealism.

Boris Vian... quel plaisir de voir son nom cité sous ta plume! J'ai eu plus jeune toute une période où j'ai dévoré ses oeuvres, des plus secondaires aux oeuvres majeures, pleurant à la lecture de "L"écume des jours" tellement l'écriture est poignante! (je ne déconseille que le plus connu 'J'irai cracher sur vos tombes" qui est hors de "l'esprit Vian"). Magnifique image et superbe dédicace, Claude, merci!

Le Coeur est bien là, entre Lumière et Ombre, et les circonvolutions lumineuses évoquent aussi bien la physiologie cardiaque que les méandres de l'inconscient...Un cadrage excellent pour cette composition superbe et audacieuse, où les formes et les lignes s'opposent et se renforcent mutuellement, et qui pourrait fort bien illustrer la couverture du roman de Boris Vian...Magnifique création, Claude et bel hommage à Boris Vian !! Bravo!!
