EASTER HALO March 31st, 2013
Everyone knows Easter is the time Jesus was hung to death on the cross.... This Easter also recognizes another Human Being Favorite of mine, Brandon Lee... who died 20 years ago at the age of 28 on the set of The Crow, on March 31, 1993.
Lee was accidentally killed by a bullet fragment that was lodged inside a prop gun.
He was buried at a cemetery in Seattle next to his father, martial arts legend Bruce Lee.

it is Happy as He rose and gives us life though belief in Him... well that is why it is Happy for those who believe!! if not itz just another day my friend! I hope you are having a good day with your family today!

Mike, your point was well made with this Easter dedi. The happy part perhaps doesn't apply as you stated. This should instead be a sacred time of remembrance. I also remember the day Brandon Lee died, it was very sad indeed. (The Crow) Is one of my all-time favorite movies.

That's an amazing and somewhat disturbing easter image. I've never seen any like it before in connection with this holiday. Not being christian myself I cannot answer your question. Thinking of Brandon Lee's death f. e. it seems rather rude. In Germany we say 'merry' instead of 'happy' and even this is nothing more than a set phrase to me. Something you've learned when you were a child and still believed in an Easter bunny.

I see here the Christ symbollically killing the pagan harbinger of Spring, the rabbit. In turn, nature, the crow. will feed on all sets of carrion, equally and without prejudice for any faith one carries. For once you have gone beyond, it does not matter what you were, only what you may become.

Cool image! Good to see a post from ya. Brandon Lee was a sad loss. It was the start of a promising career. A lot of the worlds most inspiring people have been lost before there 30th year.
