Description
Just a touristy postcard type of image.
Fourth of July Cove is a small example of why Santa Catalina is a sailors dream. It is but one of a few dozen small coves, some with harbors and some wild. This one had tie ups for about 20 boats, but in January there were only two taken.
That is mainland California in the background. People have actually swam across and a herd of Wolly Mammoth swam across during the ice age creating an endemic mini mammoth species.

Great capture and a nice spot for privacy!
Very nice view!
What an absolutely beautiful and colorful photo, Roxy! That water is so clear, and when I zoom this I can see lots of your favorite plants on the hillside! LOL! A gorgeous shot, my dear friend!
Every time I see a snow covered rock in the pacific ocean I have to LOL. Great view - great colors !
You have an incredible eye, and this is yet another great example of that. Not too "postcardy" at all, in my opinion, but a gorgeous seascape shot, somehow hinting back to an earlier time.:)
Fabulous landscape... very very well done!!!
