Description
Another alien landscape on a lampost near me.
I really love the exciting textures and am so glad they haven't yet 'modernised' these lights.

Very cool capture Andrea it does look like an alien item
Soo awesome, Andrea :)
At first look I thought I was seeing tree bark. Interesting how time and the elements often gives man made things a natural appearance.
Lovely stuff but can be sharp!
It's fascinating me with all those textures and fantastic greenery on.
The new lamposts are not as interesting!!!
Excellent pic.
A truly organic look "lamp post bark"! Great find and capture!
great shot
Fantastic textures - high lighted by glowing rust!
They are fascinating when you look close like this. Excellent capture!
I like how time and the elements have transformed this surface.
Super find.
That's outstanding. I'm with you ... I hope they don't "fix" them up. SO nice to see such a deep texture! There's something very satisfying about it.
