Description

With recent rains here, wildflowers and weeds are starting to bloom. In looking for flowers to photograph, I have noticed a conspicuous absence of bees. Our own citrus trees are in full bloom and there is not a bee within miles. I saw one the other day on the ground looking weak and sick. Personally, I blame Monsanto and their genetically modified foodstock and the tons of pesticides pumped into the environment because of them.

Wonderful capture! You have a way of really capturing the textures of your subjects; and thats not an easy thing to do. Also too you brought out the colors and hues and your lighting is excellent Bravo!
