This is a photo that I captured on the morning of Feb. 26th. I live in north east Kansas and we already had about 8 inches of snow on the ground. The next round of snow had started and it was a wet, heavy snow that was sticking to everything. It was coming down in big, fat flakes. I opened my front door to get a picture of how the snow was sticking to the trees. I forgot that my flash was set to auto, it was early and just dark enough out that the camera determined the flash was necessary. This picture is the result of the flash reflecting off the snowflakes. The only thing that was done to the photo was color adjusting because it was originally really bluish and resizing to fit the limits to upload it here at Rendo. I had uploaded it to a weather page at one of my local news stations and also on Face Book. I did have some people accuse me of Photoshopping the picture. I assure you, it is not. I still have the photo on my camera, exactly as you see it here...only it looks more bluish. But, as I said earlier, I did adjust the color. I had no idea that I had caught this image until I uploaded the photos to my computer. It's just a once in a life time capture!
