Superb capture Andrea. God Bless.
Oh wow - what a great image of these critters. I bet my bottom dollar that Chip is going to LOVE this!!
I'll bet these guys go back to prehistoric ancestors! Great capture! Love the almost metalic sheen color - they almost appear as nanobytes gone si-fi...
Ooooo... bugs!!!
They have come out very well Andrea, nice shot.
Beautiful photo work.
I don't like those, they are creepy
I was fascinated by these little creatures as a kid. We called them pill bugs because of their habit of rolling into a little ball when disturbed. Never felt the urge to take any of these "pills", but I had a friend who thought it was a cool thing to do! Great shot; the light is perfect, revealing wonderful color and detail.
Rollipolli,excellent shot;IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
cool shot
My niece has a phobia about these critters!!!
Amazing discovery and very well shot. The only 'bug' I was fond of as a child. They remind me of Trilobites. Chip is going to love this.
Our little friends in the forest :)
Armour protected...no wonder they have survived so long. Cool and shiny.
Wonderful sheen on their shells! I once said to a garden centre owner you must me making millions. He said " Only if I want to buy woodlice for a pound each!"
Chip will go nuts about these critters Great capture
I once greeted my Daughter Lyndsey at the door from a days playing out. You know, back when kids played out? She came to me with a pocketful of these all rolled up in little balls, she was fascinated with them.
Great shot, one has to tap them just to watch them roll up.
Such a beautiful hematite shine! So nice to see a bunch of them all together. I'll be 90 years old and see a woodlouse and think of Chip. It's a permanent synaptic connection. :)
Amazing shot. Aloha
I love these little guys, especially when they roll themselves into balls.
Beautiful photo and detail - Chip will love this one!
An amazing photo Andrea, and I agreed that Chip will savour this one!
