This gas station is located in Skull Valley, Yavapai County, Arizona. This small rural community with a 2010 census population of 743 is located about 10 miles southwest of Prescott.

that is a rarity in these days and times, but there is one about 2 miles from my house. to find the next one would be quite a drive

A full service gas station is hard to come by now a days. :)))) I remember when I was a little girl a man would come out to the car and ask my dad how much gas he wanted, and as the gas was pumping he would clean the windshield and check the oil. :)))) When I began to drive I had to do all of those things myself. That's kind of neat to see because I have been in Prescott visiting one of the Professors at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University because they have been using several of my books for many years and they are very nice people. I stayed overnight there too!
