Description
My Valentine offering, with an appropriately dessicated rose as befits my age!
The bottle is 'Rouge de Revlon', a cheapo floral green scent.
But the container is great!
A more postworked version Here which I think I prefer.

A photo for the day. Nice.
That looks like a beating heart OK - reminds me of 'Blondie' singing her 1975 hit 'A HEART OF GLASS' Once I had a love and it was a gas Soon turned out had a heart of glass Seemed like the real thing ... etc., etc. Happy Valentines Day Andrea, BB PS I have finally found some time again to visit the galleries - after a major clean-up, caused all around the property by the recent weather extremes ...
Superb capture Andrea. Happy valentines day to everyone. God Bless.
Very nice image Andrea, I have just seen the PP version, and agree, it is sweet!!
And Happy Valentines Day to you A:) Both look really good...but the postworked one is my favorite too.
They are both beautiful Andrea but if I had to choose it would be the other one!
Beautiful pic.
Happy Valentines Day! Aloha
OH Andrea! This is the most lovely I have seen today. :)))
Both lovely but like the other best!!!
Beautiful.................!!
The choice of two! I also give the nod to the postworked version. Not because of the postwork totally, it is a more pleasing angle and a tighter crop of the goods. This also has charm and a beautiful valentine's theme.
I think Kevin has some good points. The post worked version 'pops' more as well. Its a great Valentine's Day image but just remember, oh dessicated one, you may consider yourself old but you are not yet dead. Know what I'm saying, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more. I do hope you have a pleasant day.
Just great for the day!
Happy Valentine's Day to you, the dogs, and all those wonderful folks at the Nursing Home too!
I like the other version better as well
Stellar composition of the loverly strawberry Jello mold heart and fragile defunct rose, with the potato chiplike petals, Andrea. Happy Valentine's Day!
EXCELLENT WORK
Both are great looking But I think I like this one best Hope you had a Happy Valentines Day I have a red heart with red rose petals in it that I saved from hubby's grave site........ they fit perfect in it..suppose to be a votive candle heart glass Very very pretty Hugs Susan
A better look at the bottle, inside the heart case, in the FlickR version. Both are beautiful still life Valentine's Day photos.
Both images are great, but I do have a preference for the other...something about it just goes well with the rose :D
I'm with you ... the other one has more appeal, somehow. Beautiful shots, both!
lovely !
Lovely setting, nice work!
I love the heart shaped decanter of it so pretty and a great image for sure girl.
OOOHHH, what is this wonderful to see, Andrea. I love this so much, but will also look after the link.
It makes for a wonderful valentine image. Well done!
I did really love this version, until I saw the flickr version .. which is just awesome!
beautiful composition and colors!
This shot puts you on a par with David Baileys dead rose pictures.
