Description
Just an image I took in Namibia in 2010. I changed it to B&W in Photoshop and played with the light a bit. This is where my heart is today....
Thanks for stopping by and for your very welcome comments and favs on my last upload "Roses".

Superb capture Carin. God Bless.
A nice view of this stone arch. The black and white makes it even stonger.
So effective in B/W, lovely capture, love the atmosphere!!

WOW!! YOu did a wonderful job here, Carin.
Really an excellent idea of POV and B&W
Outstanding in B&W!
Very beautiful image and great postwork
Great postwork on this image. Extraterrestrial ambience and environment all the way.
Superb work and mood. I can feel the silence. No wonder you miss it.
What a richly elegant image! Whatever you did makes it look like it belongs in an art museum!
Elegant in B&W. Namibia...where you can set your cares aside.
I love the result ... it's beautiful, and I can see why you want to be there!
The strong contrast works well. What make it are the shadows for me.
It creates all kinds of ideas for me!
well done, Carin!
Very eye-catching Carin! I love what you have done here!
A very atmospheric photo Carin, I love what you did here and it looks so effective in b/w. hugs Jane xx
Fantastic shot! Love the black and white, the moodiness, and the scene itself. When I first opened this pix I started thinking about that time tunnel thing in the original "Star Trek". That's how my brain works. Wonderful shot!
now that really is a beauty Carin :)
This is really great. Beautiful effects. Reminds me of Arches National Monument in Utah, USA. One of my favorites.
Wonderful, Meisiekind.
Very dramatic.
Yes, 2 broken chairs needed to be replaced... Outstanding work!
I have a LOT of catching up to do, but I couldn't resist commenting on this. THIS is a marvelous shot, marvelously treated. Black and White works so wonderfully here. This is so rich in mood and it makes me think of Ansel Adams with a touch of Salvador Dali (without melting stuff) thrown in for good measure. Funny how images do that to me at times. This is marvelous. How did I miss this before?
A beautiful capture and it works very well in B&W!
