Description
I had lunch with an old friend on Friday, and we sat dawdling over our sodas while the restaurant emptied around us.
This was shot as a demo on spot metering with the iPhone. I guess it works pretty well! :)

It's actually a rather interesting photo; the play of lights and use of bw. I like it.
I like your 'slant' on this Tara. A great shot and positive proof that cameras are being consigned to history!!
The light is wonderful. I like what you've done here...common restaurant objects made to look positively fascinating. Nicely done hon:*
Amazing quality! I love that dynamic composition
Great shot and super quality for a phone, but It must be difficult eating there everything must keep sliding off the table.
Not a bad result! The camera in my iPad is not worth even using.
Very cool capture
Looks like a good old-style eating establishment.
wonderful lighting
cool perspective....beautiful large windows and space for many people .... such thing I like!
Awesome light and angles!
Indeed it worked. A really great shot, Tara :-)
Some of these new fangled gadgets have amazingly sophisticated mini cameras in them. Somebody was showing me his new gizmo ,(does that sound vaguely obscene, or is it just me?)and the camera had better picture quality than my 2 year old Nikon digital camera. Needless to say, I wasn't very happy about that, but I guess new things become obsolete a few minutes after you finish reading the instructions these days. Anyway, I love what you've done here. With the black and white, tilted angle, and X-Files alien abduction lighting, you've turned the ordinary into the spectacular. Great work!
Nice lines and lighting
These are things that I do not experiment with but I love the results here!
sure it was soda, i like this
Last meal on the Titanic? The black and white gives this added impact. Very nice work.
There is always a quality to your shots that makes them stand out; I've tried and tried to figure out what it is, and the closest I can come is to say that it seems somehow you imbue them with this intimate casual elegance that makes each one seem like a million-dollar masterpiece, no matter if it's a tree in the desert, a dinner table pre- or post-meal, the naughty bits of a flower or a piece of some aircraft. You got "IT", girl!
Last Friday my best friend from school called me and we talked for three hours. :))))) We had so much fun. :)))) Nothing like spending time with a friend. :))))) You have captured the moment very beautifully. :)))) Most excellent capture my friend. :)))) Carry A Warm Smile In Your Heart :)))
great! tilt makes it even loner. very cool image, Tara!
Superb capture Tara. God Bless.
Looks a nice place to munch.... Burgers all around then... Good shot Tara! Rob
It is a wonderful study.
Great pic Hugs Susan
That's really very lovely especially considering it was shot with an iPhone! Nice one, Tara! I used to know what a long lunch was.... Now it's get up gobble and go...
I love the b&w and the reflections, but are you sure you only had sodas Tara?
Great shot...
