Description
Hi Folks,
I'm back to a little visit. It goes to my husband better, he has recovered well from his heart attack. Nevertheless, it is not easy to keep such a troubled mind in check.
It was a turbulent time and wanted to thank all those who have comforted me with kind words and support.
Thank you!
I would also like to thank all who have made such nice comments on my last picture "Five-Liter". Thank you!
Yes, it was a turbulent time with my husband and the novel, which I have completed. I ordered a few test prints, but the publisher consoled me that something was going wrong in the production process and the delivery would be delayed. Well, it just takes a little time ...
So, today I brought the father of the gods, Odin. An impressive figure and it looks like he's even still electrician. LOL.
Thanks for viewing and comments ^ ^
Even better in full size ^ ^

An excellent representation of this god, with these two crows. I am glad to know that your husband is doing better.

Very good character and outfit.
Yes, I can hear "Die Goterdammerrung"... I realize this was a few years ago, and hope your husband has remained in good health - but you are also very fortunate to live in a nation in which health care is acknowledged as a right. I've always been impressed that Germany was the first modern nation to guarantee health care to all its citizens since its founding in 1871 - and through four different forms of government over 140 years, has continued to make sure German citizens have access to medical care, regardless of ability to pay. In the U.S.A., health care is still considered a for-profit commodity, and those who cannot afford to pay either must rely on charity, go bankrupt - or die. Yes, it happens. Shameful, isn't it? The richest, most powerful nation on earth, self-proclaimed "leader of the free world" refuses to take care of the least of its citizens...even with the half-hearted attempt known as the "Affordable Care Act." corporate profits still matter far more than human life where I live... :_( I may make some enemies by saying this, but if an illness or accident can bankrupt you, that's not freedom...
