Description
i was given a chair at floor level and as the floats came around the circle i can take photos of them. all this was inside the building. happy it was not raining as the people in the parade was outside waiting their turn to go inside. lot of people was there. cost me $6 to get inside.
oh the girl in green is a photographer also. i was going to talk to her but she did not care to. I do not blame her at all. I was going to ask if she from the local collage but i could tell she did not wish to talk. it ok with me.
oh the banner tells what club they are from. I knew it is not called clubs but is really called krewes.
my big camera was in the shop so i ask my son for his camera which is really my old camera which i give him. i big new camera is out the shop at a cost of $263 with tax lol.

a picture taken on the spot! ... good staging elements ... it seems there are some confetti in the air!
i will upload one that will show the area all of this is done in
Nice shot there! Looks like your camera handles the high ISO setting pretty well. Back in the 70's I would have been shooting this on Tri-X pushed to 3200 and developing it in Ethol Blue. Man I would marry a woman who wore stop bath instead of perfume.
Very nice shot!!
Good one, and I like UVDan's comment!
Nice shot looks like fun.
Fantastic creation!!!!!
I love the colors and the lighting in this; and I have a lot of catching up to do. So much catching up, its not even funny! That's typical of me, but I am happy I saw this. Looks like you had the best seat in the house!
This is a good low light shot Jock.
Excellent shot!
Very cool shot Jock!
A very nice photo, Jocko! Too bad the gal had to be so anti-social. A person can learn a lot from other people in the profession by being a little social and sharing information and shared experiences. I suspect she has a lot to learn not only about photography, but life as well! But that is her loss! Sorry to hear about your big camera! You seem to be having a lot of problems lately with things electronic! I hope your streak of bad luck there runs its course soon and you get back onto a lucky streak!
What a super sensational capture Jock, that lighting really is something else.
Nice capture here dude.

Sensational Jocko. The light lines and stadium wall create such neat perspective. It is a real treat to see your works. They always amaze.
