Description
During my break from RR, I did some things that I had not done in many years. My last round of golf had to be 55 years ago. It was fun but the best part was watching the old timers at the 11th hole. As is the way of life in south Florida, there was an eight foot alligator, in the water hazard, on the approach to the 11th hole. I left my golf ball in the water but those old timers went all out to retrieve their wet golf balls. Trust me, it was not worth the cost of a golf ball. Yes, I know that I am posting another alligator photo but they seem to be everywhere. I like the reflection. Worth a zoom.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.

Ah...err...yeah NOT worth the price of a golf ball!! Wow...I forget people down there deal with such things. Here in NH the most you may have to deal with on the golf course is a stray moose or a duck, LOL. I really like the reflection in this one! Very nice and very sharp!
COOL REFLECTION
I am very sure I wouldn't be retrieving any golf balls from this hazzard. An excellent capture with great reflections.
Great shot - love the symmetry of the reflection. My father in law lived off a golf course in Florida & alligators were a common sight there...
Nice Gator!! Speak'n of golf..... Enjoy! A husband and wife were out playing golf. They tee off and one drive goes to the right and one drive goes to the left. The wife finds her ball in a patch of buttercups. She grabs a club and takes a mighty swing at the ball. She hits a beautiful second shot, but in the process she hacks the hell out of the buttercups. 'Suddenly a woman appears out of nowhere. She blocks her path to her golf bag and looks at her and says..... "I'm Mother Nature....., and I don't like the way you treated my buttercups. From now on, you won't be able to stand the taste of butter. Each time you eat butter you will become physically ill to the point of total nausea." The mystery woman then disappears as quickly as she appeared. Shaken, the wife calls out to her husband "Hey, where's your ball?" "It's over here in the pussy willows." The wife screams back, "DON'T HIT THE BALL!!!! DON'T HIT THE BALL!!!!"
Very good capture!
I would let him keep the ball too.
Great capture Dana. I agree with you - it would not be worth risking ones life for a lousy golf ball. As to the Cu Chi tunnels. A small section was open to the public - enlarged to fit Caucasians. I went 33 ft. It was the shortest distance possible, but it was hard on the knees. The tunnel was lit up, but despite the enlargement and the light, it was still hard. There were 100s of miles of these.
A banker looking for a bonus :))
Nice shot!
WOnderful image!!!
a wonderful alligator
