Wow that sand looks like it would be a bit rough on my feet!
Classic coastline & cloudy sky shot & very close to being a natural b&w, with just a slight touch of pale yellow sunlight providing the only trace of color. Nice shot...
Excellent picture!!
you have certainly captured a special moment here Bill
A perfect composition, Bill. I love these moments as the colour drains.
I love Rialto Beach, and this makes me want to go back! Beautiful shot.
beautiful shot, shows the rocky formations off shore i remember so well
Superb capture Bill. God Bless.
Fantastic photo Bill. I feel cold just looking at the water.
Mean and moody image.. The slightly cropped feel you've given us makes feel even more so.. Its a good shot mate, nice one! Rob
Classic Washington weather as well Great capture Bill
Love the mood, just before dusk!!
Masterful capture, Bill. Something about it reminds me of Ansel Adams. Well done!
Great ambience and ominous mood in this cold capture, Bill. I don't think we're in Kansas anymore.
fantastic image
Wonderful calm, silvery tones in the shot, Bill! Love it!
wonderful
What a lovely and peaceful place to linger. Looks so beautiful.
EXCELLENT WORK!
Excellent image Love it Hugs Susan~
I'm listening to the soundtrack to The Hobbit as I write this comment, so I'll do my best to refrain from slipping into paroxysms of epic grandiosity. But I have to say, this is an epic photo. It fits disk two of the 2 CD soundtrack. Disk 1 has the quieter stuff on it. Disk two has the epic orchestral grandiosity with some really nice brass and thumpy-bits in the drum section. This image has a similar sense of size and expansiveness, only without those annoying hobbits running around! This is deliciously spare: everything looks so clean and crisp, and I love those island rocks in the distance. The "middle island" looks like it has a castle on top. This is amazing. That sky is dramatic too, and I cannot resist a wonderfully dramatic sky. This whole image is just super!
I have to agree with Chipka on this... epic indeed. (Oddly, I am also listening to that soundtrack at the moment.)
Nice compo, great sky!
