A fan of indigo peeks around an indigo fan with a coy smile. Notes: No real "meaning" behind this one. It was just an idea for a pretty picture I had that I wanted to do. Actually, my original idea was a bit different from what I ended up with. I wasn't sure about it in the end but Dad said he liked it so into my gallery it goes. The original idea for this artwork came from a stained glass design I created back in 2009 when I was trying to learn how to make stained glass. That didn't turn out well. At least I now have this to show for that unused design I spent so much time on all those years ago! Technical Notes: I used a simple IDL setup for the lighting. I changed select textures and parts of textures to be indigo (or close to it) in Photoshop before using them in Poser. My original base render was quite simple and boring. I spent a lot of time in Photoshop postworking it into what you see here. I counted about twenty layers (adjustments, styles, etc.) by the time I was finished. On another note, I'm getting closer to perfecting my new skin shader setup which looks really great in this artwork. Now I just have to make it look great in every scene/artwork!
