Description
'Yule' - also referred to as Yuletide ...
pertaining to the Christmas Season (origin 1425-75) and Winter Solstice, a solar festival of Pagan origin that marks the time when the days grow longer and the nights shorter ...
others claim it started with the Babylonians, hmmm

There you have it in a nutshell - I can't argue with that, I wouldn't know any better ;)
The main thing here is, we are sweating it out in the Southern hemisphere and while you are all freezing your butts off ... and we are thinking of you but don't envy you, sorry my friends!
Wishing you all here @ Renderosity ~A COOL YULE~, (very appropriate indeed!), no I am not rubbing it in - maybe just a little ;)
I am looking forward to many more posts from all of you next year - remember that list of 'NEW YEAR's resolutions you made last year, can be used again. It's as good as new! ;)
TAKE CARE, BE GOOD AND BE WELL!

Oh, these are wonderful greetings from the hot australia. (I have cold feet and a red nose - not by alcohol * lol *) And....I think to my good intentions ... I've only comply with dementia. Like every year, * smile * I wish you and Jeff a nice Christmas party and a happy 2013 Rocket Julchen P.S. If I keep it up sweet nibble, you can call me soon "raisin bombers".
Here it pours with rain again! And, my word Brigitte, I had't realised you are really SO BLONDE! Time you posted a self portrait as a main subject Have a fab time on the beach (grits teeth)!
Merry Christmas!! Happy 2013!!

Merry XMas & Happy holiday season
Wishing you and yours a Wonderful Christmas and New Years!
fabulous Christmas Card!! Happy Holidays to both of you!! BUONE FESTE!!
You did great here Brigitte. I love all the colors, and also to see you both here in such a great way. The flower really fits the colors of your outfit, dear friend, as Jeff seems to paint some in the open air. Yes we could be jealous about your weather, but perhaps we are saving so much money now with no need a deodorant. LOL! At the first sight I thought that flower was a Fuchsia. Thanks and have a great time out there, Gitti and Jeff!!!
Wonderful Yuletide dedication Brigitte! Have a wonderful holiday my friend!!
SUPERB CREATION!
A very beautiful christmas card from you and Jeff and I hope you both have a lovely christmas and some shrimps on the barbie etc. Christmas seems to have caught up very quickly and gee I haven't even got round to putting last years resolutions into place so they will definately just be a perrenial list now. They say we are going to have drizzle for christmas day so it may even be a fire. Where is summer????
Hey, this looks familiar. Wishing you a great Christmas in the land where Santa wears shorts and tank top.
Thank you so much for the holiday wishes! It's wonderful to see this a second time. :D We're having a clear night, not too cold, no rain, just right. I hope you are having a marvellous time with your Hot Yule! LOL! Best Wishes and Happy Holidays to you and Jeff. Hugs from the Pacific Northwest!
Thanks for the card Brigitte and Jeff. Awesome mix of Summer and Christmas/what a bummer your Christmas is in Summer!! We are standing at -29 and only climbing up to -25 for the day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Jeff.
Happy Holidays to you and Jeff, and this is a gorgeous abstract flower. Amazing and truly mind-blowing what NATURE can create that puts anything we humans can ever contemplate in our feeble minds to shame. Again, you have managed to capture an image of an object that I am drooling over. Thanks for bringing this picture to my computer screen, and allowing me to see what you saw at that moment. Gorgeous. Oh, and I'm jealous you are enjoying such great weather. It's freezing here, and they are calling for snow this week. I don't mind that part too much, because it's going to snow tomorrow for Chrismas Eve, which hasn't happened in nearly 13 years in my area. Talk to you again soon.
And a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year to you both! A nicely done card!
