Description
Cyclos (pedicabs) are a good, cheap way to see the city of Saigon, as long as one doesn't get ripped off. These cyclos are slowly being faced out as part of a modernization process of the public transportation system - and no new registrations are issued. Cyclos are restricted from many busy roads, and one has to get used to the idea that everyone around a cyclo is faster.
We took these cyclos from the hotel to the War Crimes Museum, renamed from 'Museum of American War Crimes', to appease American tourists.
During our visit to the museum it started to rain, one of those monsoon rains, frequent during the summer months in Saigon . The cyclos were prepared, just put the roof up for the passenger. Here they are waiting on Vo Van Tan Street opposite the museum.

Not very nice in the wet but you would think with all the talk of so called climate change they would be introducing more not removing them!!
It seems like it would be fun to sit inside one of those in the rain and listen to the drops hitting the vinyl covers. Like being inside a drum!
