Description
New grass at Montezuma Castle National Monument. Such a glorious green, even in the middle of Arizona! We really were there at the perfect time.

I still have this Gwot place in my mind and so, with a Gwotian eye, I can say that this looks like the house where grass lives. If you look at this shot from a slight distance, it seems as if you're looking through an arched doorway into a house with central pillars intended to divide a space into rooms without having to use walls. Or something. Well, that's the impression I get. It's open, but it has the overall visual feel of an enclosed space--NOT closed in, but safe, as a home would be. There's that sense of shelter, that sense of a place to rest and maybe to sit around reading stones and smelling grass. That's the feeling I get from this, and I have to say that it's a super shot too. That green IS glorious, and the tangle of branches looks woven to me, rather like woven thatch with gaps in it to allow the house to breathe. This is marvelous.
