Grey and cold and a bit snow. But Hubby came well home again yesterday. He is fine. :) I was with my painter friend and had a wonderful day today painting :)

I am so glad Per is recovered! This is a most attractive group. I think the fungi have not been so prolific in the UK this year: I had a set of this sort in the garden for years and they didn't show up this season. I love the detail you have got in the gills.

Those gills are amazing! I don't know if we have these kind of not, in Chicago/Illinois, but I love 'em. They look so healthy! I'm happy to hear that Per is doing well and is at home, AND that you spent time with your painter friend! Does this mean we will see a new painting soon? And why did I just get an image of you down on your belly taking this shot? Well, I guess it's because that's how I get mushroom shots and I like this image a lot! It's really nice and it has such a fresh feeling to it.

I'm a little late in saying so, but I too am glad Per is well. Lovely capture. I love the gills and the grass. It's like looking at the mushrooms through a fence of grass. I like the blade that is curving out towards the camera. Great detail and dof.
