Just goofing around--I have been loading things into PoserPro 2012 and having a lot of fun with Pixeluna and Shadownet's "Ruffa" and their and Chucknepo's Venus 2813 set. (BIG SF guns!)
I'm not used to how the Poser Pro library works yet, but I like how it renders, and it renders faster and better than my old Poser7. (partly because I have more capacity on this machine). My purchased light sets look good too--this is Blackhearted's ProLuma set, one of the more "normal" light sets instead of the FX ones everyone loves so much. I still am no good at setting Poser lights myself. :D
I went ahead and tried out the no.5 background from the Venus set; all of them are neat and I may steal bits of them for custom brushes, too. And gypsyangel and Donnena are responsible for the Hello Kitty breathing mask! (Thank you!!). That Swam bubble gum (Lumen) hair I bought myself; I wish my hair looked like that!
The Air Filter is by LFNC..cutieAirFilter..couldn't find it on the dropdown list, will check later. 0_0
And yay, it's the weekend!

Holy cow! What a scene you made here, Lynn! I could tell you are having fun with those new bug zappers LOL. I love those playful colors and boy, she got some attitude he-he. It was the same when I was using PP2012 for the first time, it will take some time to really get used to it. And I agree about the fast rendering compared to the ol' P7. I'm sure you'll enjoy the new version better. :-)

Yay! Glad to know you're having fun with PP 2012. It's funny; my first reaction to the content was to think you might be doing one of those "what's in my library" images. Not that you need to do that, because you use so many different items so creatively. Me, I really should try one of those sometime soon. I love all of the bright colors. It's a wonderfully fun piece. In terms of getting a good grip on lighting, I find starting simple is easiest. If it's outdoors, I tend to let one infinite and IDL take care of everything. Indoors, I started with one or two spots or points and worked up from there.

This is so deliciously retro in the best possible way! I love the overall scene and the wonderful promise of a fun romp, as science fiction once provided, especially if involving women named Barbarella and reclusive scientists named Dr. Duran Duran! Ah...Barbarella! This image makes me want to see that again! It's snazzier than Barbarella, though...slicker, neater, and with a bigger gun! I love this!
