Les fleurs disparaissent sous un tapis de feuilles, L'automne les a de fait transformées en linceuls. Les pépiements des oiseaux dans les arbres, Se font moins denses, voire silencieux, Les arbres transis comme des colonnes de marbre, Servent encore de perchoir aux plus audacieux !
