Description
As I watch the angel I know
Slowly wither away
I can’t help but question
Why
Why her
She has carried your water her whole life
She has been a rock
For others to stand on
When they were afraid
Or alone
She has lifted her voice to you
For you
Never faltering from her faith
Yet again another stumbling block is before her
She will never complain
Or outwardly cry out
But I know her heart is weak
Her soul is tired
I also know there are things
I will never understand
And I have to admit
This is one of them
I just found out today that a very dear friend of mine of 40 years now has cancer again. She had one breast removed because of cancer then the other one a couple years later and she is going in next week to have a lump removed from her neck and she just found out that they spotted a tumor growing in her brain. Her and her husband are two of the kindest people I have ever known. She has faith like I have never seen, the kind of faith I wish I had and even though her faith isn’t shaken I can’t help but wonder why her.
I am not questioning God I am just saying it doesn’t make any sense to me.

Cancer is ugly for anyone and everybody...do I know her?...she sounds very strong...lots of things in life makes no sense to me my dear friend.

None of us will ever know why this happens but god will take his angels sooner than others as to no suffering no longer should be.This is one one superb piece of writing my friend.
