Description

Well, despite having Reality 2.5 for the past sx months and numerous attempts, I've never been able to use it properly. Therefore I've been looking a my regular light set-up. Normally, I use the lights included in the Daz Firefly tutorial (at 60%) with a spotlight (at 40%) focussed on the face. However, with this image I have used the Firefly lights at 50% and added a distant light at 50%. Results are...improving.

Its looking good. There is a thread over on the DAZ forums about UberEnvironment and how to use it. I strongly suggest you check it out. I have not been able to get the kind of beautiful skin you get with Poser's Firefly engine, but I'm getting better. What I do is apply any texture maps I get to subsurface colour. If you contact me, I'll give you details on my material settings. They're not hard to achieve. But uberenvironment is essential imho, when rendering with the DLight engine.
