it would seem that my Live Oak is over loaded with leafs. it has been dropping acorns like crazy. I have been trying to break them so they will not grow

Great capture,You should print it out and make a puzzle.A family of squirrels will solve your problem. (We don't have Oaks here, so I don`t know a thing about them, Aren't acorns edible?)

Lovely tree! I have two oaks on my property and the acorns never have made it to the ground as the Bluejays come and take every one just a tad before they might fall.
