Description
Our annual ~SWELL~ Sculpture Festival is celebrating it's 10th year at Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast, Queensland ...
(Currumbin is derived from kurrohmin, meaning kangaroo)

I will be posting every day a sculpture capture and shall turn off the comments, as there are just too many to reciprocate - also please 'no favs' either - I will post a collage at the end, where you can leave a comment then, if you wish. ;)
BTW this one (#1) is called: 'THAT FIRST KISS'

Time is of the essence at the moment ...
Our lives at present are very busy: we are trying to complete our own house construction, looking after our huge garden and pool, helping a neighbour who has had a major op. and looking also after a 70acre property for a friend, who lives in Sydney and visits only 4-6x per year - never a dull moment around here.
But I did manage to take some time off in September, for the occasional beach-walk and taking pix at the sculpture fest.

Cheers my friends and thanks for viewing and stay tuned ...

broken image on the wall indicates broken back from the surf? Great capture
The wave in the blue and the undertow in the gray. I like it with that great surf in the background.
I'll look forward to seeing the series! :)
How exciting! And what a life you lead... I got breathless just reading your account!
I really dig how the two ladies are getting into the design and it's construction...lets hope they don't follow the title and start kissing ! LOL So it's a tag-team Swell postings from us (LOL) and looking forward to the rest of your salty series ! ~Cheers~
Looking forward to seeing the others, particularly the others, LOL!
Simple but attractive. There is a dark line that seems to indicate a separation is developing between the lovers. I don't see why you can't comment. It doesn't seem that you are that busy (says the guy who some days doesn't get out of his pajamas). {;-) Looking forward to the rest of your festival shots.
A busy life for you Brigitte. I must say that I really like this pic and the animation between the two ladies.
Nice scene composition. Well done.
Nice view and shot!
Good shot.
Looking forward to more!
Wonderfully composed capture!
GREAT IDEA TO EXHIBIT ARTWORK THERE
I'm looking forward to seeing all these images you have taken from the sculpture festival. I went to one in Perth and I loved the huge exhibits they had. You sound to be very busy these days but I'm glad you are going to post.
