Reverend Blunderbuss is my representative for Thanksgiving in my line of holiday themed original characters. This guy is basically a ghost who hunts down other spirits in the service of St. Raphael, the Archangel. So, he doesn’t really have a base of operations, since he’s a roaming spirit. Therefore, he could theoretically just house himself anywhere that he travels to and it wouldn’t really matter. Being a religious man though, he’d probably be more apt to set himself up at various churches of the protestant variety or other places where good deeds are done such as homeless shelters and soup kitchens and the like. As long as he can remain undetected, and can help out others in his afterlife, he’ll be happy. He is a good spirit that doesn’t mean harm to any good people though, so it’s unlikely that if he were discovered by any mediums or anything, that he would be exorcised, and he would willingly leave wherever he wasn’t wanted, but again, he doesn’t mean any harm to anyone who isn’t evil. He could also effectively just have his base be within Heaven, or even somewhere else within the spiritual realm, but as it stands right now, if he has anywhere that he calls home that is a regular place for him to go to in between missions, it’s not known where or what that place is. And, even if I were to give him a standard dwelling place, it would most likely be something like a place that resembles his old church or home from his village during his mortal lifetime. So, that is a possibility, but I don’t know. At least it’s a thought to consider in the future should I ever want to develop this guy further.
