Description
Captured 11/12/12, very early morning, in the middle of a strip mall parking lot. What it was doing there I have no idea.
This type equipment, with a man in the cage, is used in construction, demolition, repair, maintenance, entertainment, etc. Now when they zoom, they really zoom. Depending on the model, the cage can be raised anywhere from 40-feet to 135-feet. Acrophobes need not apply.
Cheerybye, and have a nice day.

Terrific compo!
Very cool capture Harry, it would be fun to play with a boom lift like this one
The Palm trees are a nice touch to this great perspective shot. Nice capture!!!:-)
Maybe it is used to help trim up all those majestic Washingtonia Palms you have there. Great angle here.
Actually, the lift belongs to Ahern Entertainment, so I doubt it was there to trim any palm trees.
Fantastic shot. Superb POV!!
Maybe someone lost their cherries - excellent pov.
Now that's an unusual view! Good one Harry... not something you see here everyday.. lol Well taken. Rob
I've often thought that it would be fun to have one of these. I can think of all kinds of wonderful things to do up high like that! What a great ant's-eye POV here, it makes me feel even shorter than I usually do. Excellent capture, Harry, and thanks for pointing me here, I never got the bot telling me you'd uploaded!
Very cool composition and POV! I love the lift looming over the palm trees. They look so small and a bit shaken by this monstrosity. I can imagine the conversation. "Hey Jim, nice day . . . Bloody Hell! What's That!" Great capture!
