Description
Bottlenose dolphins are the most common and well-known members of the oceanic dolphins. They live in groups typically of 10-30 members, called pods, but group size varies from single individuals up to more than 1,000. This was part of an educational display that we took the school kids to.

Interesting! It looks to have a fairly large brain area compared with some other large species such as a cow. Also, the upper jaw appears directly connected to the skull (like a woodpecker) which might explain why they are so good at ramming and killing sharks.
Very interesting. I note that, different to humans, their bottom jaw is longer and protrudes past the upper teeth.
