Description
Happy birthday Rita my friend, hope all is well and have many more super birthdays hon.
my first post since crashing my system last friday. all my files in the sub folders work perfectly, so much easier to locate things. the few issues i have are not sure if it's the xp op system that make my poser look bigger (borders/words/tabs). i used to be able to use a 1000x900 image on my 19" screen in the viewable area, now it's much larger. had to go to 800x600 so far. my friend gave me a new video card to use, says it's alot better then the one i had, could that be causing it? also on my first render, crashed many times, had to keep reducing from the way i used to do ones, but this is the first will have to do more renders and see what's going on here, might resort back to the other video card. any ideas ?
thanks for stopping by and i enjoyed all your work during the week..
got to work on a image for dear Jenny & Jane for upcoming birthdays sunday.

beautiful work and nice dedi steve.
Super work on this my friend... awesome really. I think that your video card may very well be the crux of your problems.
Fantastic dark render!!!
very mystic.
This looks fantastic both zoomed and on the page, Steve, a superb birthday dedi for Rita~ So glad you've got your pc set up and your content's working for you, that's such great news! I'm not that great at pc troubleshooting but if I come across information that might help, I'll send you a sitemail. Again, a wonderfully crafted scene for Rita's b-day, excellent work!
Wonderful magical scene Steve !
Always on top of things you are...Excellent Dedi Steve as always my friend!
Awesome!
Happy Birthday Rita... The best for this day . Your work i always so good Iam trying to be at your ankle But realy hard to go upper lol. And i am realy happy of your success ((5++))
I was gonna say this image looks really good and I would keep the card if I could. Excellent night lighting and your smokey/hazy postwork is always supreme. I can tell you for sure that the root of the issue lies with the video card. I have a network at home and both computers share a 24" monitor. They have two different graphic cards and there is a difference in the size of rendered images between the two. Also, if you have small amount of memory on the graphic card that will definitly cause poser to crash during a render and will also slow down your preview screen when you try to move the camera. You need the biggest fastest graphics card you can get your hands on - 1 G min for poser2012.
Wow, great dark scene Steve, glad to see you've got your Poser working back so fast :)
spooky looking
SUPERB WORK!
well this is a nice one to come back with my friend, nice work
Excellent work!
A great birthday dedi for Rita and I know she will love the magic you have done here. I hope you get your computer adjusted and running soon and that some of these ideas that everyone has suggested work.
Cool to summon this cute dragon for Rita's Happy Birthday Dedi. Nice work Steve!
Excellent dedi!
Wonderful image.Truly Gothic dark and fun. I love your work. About your video resolution problems there is a video card setting in Control Panel follow the Start>Settings>Control Panel path There you will find Appearances and Themes Under this grouping there is a item called Change the Screen resolution You can then tinker with the screen settings and find a resolution you like. Hope that helps: Other possibility is that the system is starting up in Safe Mode which will give you an un-godly huge and ugly icons and aps. I can help you with that too if you need it. Now hopefully someone else has already helped you out but if not, give me a shout and I can help you get it fixed.
Awesome render, Steve! Looks like you're back on track, at least partially - good news indeed... I think Rene is on the right track..... Make sure your video card drivers are the latest and greatest.. that would be my first move. If you still have crashes, yeah, stick the other card in and see what happens.. Keep us informed!
beautiful scene, lie the character and transparent dragon
Wow, thats great, absolutly well done!
Excellent scene!
The render is great and so are the lighteffects. It's a nice atmosphere with all that blue colors and a little touch of orange. Nothing wrong with this one. Gr.Rudy.
