Description
...or 'The Winter Witch'.
Skadi is the Norse goddess of winter and the hunt.
Winter's coming and I don't know if I want to know what it will bring after Sandy and other things.
This is my 'seasonal girl' Lilana, who (I discovered today) has some very interesting skin. Why it's interesting shall remain a secret for now. She could just as well be the 'Ice Queen'. Brrrrrr!

This dress would normally have to have a 'Nudity' tag, but I don't think there's anything visible.
Thanks so much for stopping by dear friends. Your comments and faves are always much appreciated :)
Have a good weekend and YAY! Art's back!!!

Very lovely..nicely done!!
This is very beautiful Ray.
Lovely! What a beautiful harmony!:)
You know, I've always found there to be something kinda sexy about the whole "Ice Queen" thing. Maybe I'm just drawn to hard, powerful women... Her kiss would surely freeze you to your core, but I bet it would be worth it! Great image, Ray.
Subtle portrait, very harmonious image with these soft colors !

Gorgeous Seasonal image!
So beautiful, Ray! What a lovely winter goddess she is - fantastic work, hon! I've come to enjoy winter a lot more than I used to - as long as it doesn't get too cold in my little lair in the basement!
very beautiful
Wow, absolutely amazing! This is one of those images that I could just look at forever, an image that would neatly hang on one of my walls where I could gaze upon it day after day; never to leave me. Never mind my house is in a warm sandstone phase now but it used to be a cold ice white. I really love the subtle use of the variety of winters colors here. There is just a hint of warmth to remind us of the mirror season. A wonderful elegance of softeness and translusceny to remind us that snow is an ephemeral mineral; it does not last. Lovely brush work on this composition. Masterfully created.
This is just beautiful, and I could almost feel the coldness of the air she breathed. Love the outfit too, one of my runtime favorites.
A hand-blown kiss from Skadi,that's very cold. A brilliant picture! Gr.Rudy.
