Description
locks are for various uses, as we all know. here is one that I've used for several years. It is now retired as I've a new one that offers a guarantee to replace my bicycle if it is stolen while locked up.
that image will be shown later
I wish all a great night/day

Well that is an interesting choice of subject matter! Nice photo, Mike!
I like the textures in this photo. I hope you never have to collect on the new lock's guarantee.
And a very artistically posed bike-lock it is Mike! Yes, let's hope you don't ever have to collect on the new lock's guarantee - but that's pretty cool :)
Very cool image Mike, great idea for a photo. Can't wait to see your new chain with the guarantee
Cool capture Mike!!
Great capture of this lock and cable Mike!! Surely a photo that Andrea will like!
I agree with Bob. Lock Mania seems to be catching. Looks well maintained. Surely you can find another use for it.
looks in good shape still.
I think there is a vid on youtube on how to break this one! :{
Specular Spectacular Mike :)
I would have thought your worries would be over with the one shown here...that's a serious lock and cable!
Love the way you find the most unusual objects to photo Mike!
Stunning capture my friend. God Bless.
Wonderful piece. great job on this!
Very good capture!
Very strong looking lock. Cool capture Mike and this would fit well with Andrea's lock series.
OK, now the new one! :O)
Great shot of this lock something that she likes for sure.
Amazing how the subject of art can be anything. And yes locks can be used for lots of things. Like the subject of art. Love the shadows Nice capture. Interesting shot.
I wonder sometimes if it is only a selling point or if they would actually replace the bike. I have purchased things like that that promised an insurance policy but I never tried to use such. I purchased only because I felt the product was a quality build and not expensive
I'm sure you'll find a use for this one too, maybe for something that's cheaper to replace than your bike. Great pose and shot!
also make a good weapon to be swinging, thanks for sharing Mike.
What a nice capture of your retired lock, looks like you took great care of it. Looking forward to see what is replacing this one in the near future.
very nice dedi
In 2012.... we are at the stage to lock everything lol....for the robbery and all kind of person who suppose to be safe but in reality they are the ones who make these desagrements like Hummmm....I am asking me if it was right to put one on my brain just in case lol.... Just for fun Mike But a lot feel the same way of me . ((5++))
awesome capture mike, love the things you take shots of and their significents to the capture!:)*5
Excellent shot!!!!!
I happened upon a situation once that I thought was unusual...Here was this bike front tire chained to a pole....just the tire...and a note attached to the tire that read.... "If you would have chained this the right way you wouldn't be reading this note about me stealing your bike" I thought.... Well at least the crook felt bad about his crime and had the compassion to leave him/her a note...
Cool, old but great worker...just like meLOL
Interesting and good capture.
