Today marks the start of the next instalment of my on going ABIS – America Back Into Space picture story series.
Heading for space once again is Hercules the giant super booster conceived by Robert L Carter and built by NASA to get its heavy and super-heavy payloads into Earth orbit.
What payload is Hercules carrying into Earth orbit today? What part will this payload play in Carters overall plan for taking America Back Into Space after the end of the Space Shuttle programme so many years before? To find that out you will have to tune in here in the days to come.
