Description
i know i'll probably get a lot of static for this one, but i've been hearing and seeing on the news and internet how gas is now being rationed on the east coast, someone even called it apocalyptic!
a truly sad situation!:(
tweaks from yet another oldie but goody from lenord, called 'alien shores beckon' params, changed formulas, turned it, zoomed, light and diffuse map(diffuse from demos and warriors wallpapers), postwork in twisted brush

simply awesome
Very good work
Love how you blend the images into such beautiful creations. I would suppose it is better to a least have some rationed gas than none at all... Some people seem to think that (in their reality tv universe) every problem or situation can be overcome in 30-60 minute segments. Unfortunately we live in the real world where disasters can create chaos for years, and the devastation left by this storm is vast, not something easily shrugged off. I read today that the government is giving those states 12 million gallons of free gasoline, and many are still complaining because the first responders are getting to fuel their vehicles first.. There is no pleasing so many these days. But this is what happens in a dumbed-down country where many don't believe in science or history, evolution..
FANTASTIC!!! 5+++
Dynamite image with great colors. Love your compositions, they really work like a precision instrument. As for the commentary, I have always found that it is better to keep silent then to challenge Public Consensus Reality. Actually your image may just be our future. As the Philosopher of Harvard Square, Raymond Zalenski, said," It is what it is". Ourtstanding creation!!!!!
Fantastic image..nice work!
Always so fantastic creation !!! Excellent work dear ArtFriend !!!
Cool work.
Love this image and agree with Seth. Probably the rich maa fuggers sitting on their asses and waiting to be rescued that are the ones doing most of the bitching.
amazing how you blend all the images within' fractals, most amazing indeed. yep dito seths comment on them.
Fantadstic image, Rick! Corrie
Amazing art work!!!Bravo!!!!
I see this image from a different angle. I see in it the possibility of a great "fresco" painting also of large dimensions...Moreover this should be developed in more parts to form a whole ambient....I don't know if my englsh sustains me in what I'm saying but I clearly see this! Congrats!
Splendid.
Fantastic piece of artwork, Rick!
another great work !
fascinating combination of shapes, structures, and coloring
WOW, WOW, WOW...excellent work and montage!!
Don't know anything about the gas-problem, but this really is a 'Yikes' image, with a lot creepy things going on. I love your coloring, Rick. Congratulations your on the tie with the second place (included Rapesto and me). I recognized your entry immediately, it was/is such great made, my friend!
superb image excellent work

superlative creation!
Fantastic work!
fantastic piece,great stuff
Wow, I love the sense of desperation you captured. But not to worry there is no climate change that is just crazy. Ask Sarah Palin if you don't believe me.
agree with barryjeffer. too many people live in a reality tv show and refuse the existance of what is the true reality. Too many feel a sense of entiltlement to things they have not worked for, and too many are eager for a quick fix, never willing to look at long term ramifications. Sigh. I guess my outlook for this world is bleak .. I don't see humanity getting better, only worse. but then, I should be commenting on the awesomeness of your work, and not climbing up on my soap box.
Fantastic render!
