The castle walls of the High Ogre have dissolved away and the next thing they know, Arrik and Sir Duke find themselves standing in a dark cavern on an island surrounded by lava. They have resumed their true shapes, albeit a much smaller size for Sir Duke. 'I know this place!' remembers Arrik. 'This is the cavern we placed Zilspirmas in so very long ago, that evil creature!' 'Yes, I thought the same thing!' answered Sir Duke. 'I think we know who is pulling the High Ogre's strings now! I don't think this world is ready for the evil and malice Zilspirmas is capable of. I thought we had placed a strong enough spell on him to keep him away forever!' 'Nothing lasts forever, my two dimwitted friends!' a cackley old voice intones in the darkness of the cavern. As Arrik and Sir Duke look around for the source, an apparition drifts slowly toward them. It is the projection of Zilspirmas. 'Yes, my two old friends. You thought you had me out of the way for good. But thanks to your predictable bungling, it was only for a short time. What is a mere 3,000 years to one as old as I am. I was around long before the two of you came into existence. You might even say I had a hand in your creation. But I won't go into that now. You have fallen into my trap and now you will pay for what you did to me. If you think a 3,000 year nap is long, where the two of you are going will make that seem like an eye blink!' 'I can't feel any magic in this cavern.' Sir Duke says to Arrik. 'It seems that Zilspirmas has us over a barrel. What can we do to get out of this jam?' 'That is correct you imbeciles!' says Zilspirmas. 'I have taken the precaution to negate all magic in and around the cavern of my former captivity. Your spells and incantations will do you no good now. Just lay back and enjoy your rest, for it will be a very long one. Oh and by the way, thanks for those lovely princes! I find them most delightful and look forward to enjoying all 13 of them once the High Ogre captures the rest of them. I will make myself a kingdom like no other! With you two out of the way, its smooth sailing for me and my plans!' 'You may have noticed the two body guards stationed by the exit door. I have imbued them with some very powerful powers of their own.
