When I close my eyes
There you are
Dressed from head to toe
In white lace and pearls
Your beauty stops my pulse
I lower my eyes
Tilt my head
Extend my hand
A beggar asking a lady
For a dance
You take my hand
Lift my chin
And look into my eyes
Unashamed to be seen with me
You are elegant in every way
I try to steal a soft kiss
And you disappear into the night
The lady in my dreams
I wrote this poem just a little while ago while I was listening to music. Music is my number one muse. My problem is I don’t have a good picture to put this with. I hope you like it anyway
