Description
Two days ago we visited Elsloo.
There is a botanical garden, a castle,
and a lot of history in the field of architecture.
About Elsloo:
As far as anyone knows, Elsloo is the oldest farming village of the present Netherlands.
Around 5000 BC, here lived the Bandkeramiekers. (band-ceramic makers)
During the last fifty years, about one hundred farms and a cemetery were uncovered.
The weather is totally different now, no sun anymore, wet and cold.
But I'm so glad we were able to enjoy those long walks.
If I can do that, the pain is less, provided I have something in my mouth to chew.
I always eat, but healthy things, and I devour stacks of chewing gum.
LOL, when the weather was good, I did not cook.
We ate every day (homemade) lentil-zucchini soup.
So yesterday I was forced (a little) by Karel, to make something that looks like a good meal.
And it was GOOD. My specialty, noodles with many different dishes and sauces.
Lots of different vegetables, tofu, and other alternatives, just a little chicken meat.
So, Andrea, if you come for that coffee in our garden,
I can present you a meal like that too :D
Thank you so much for your support, dear friends.
I really appreciated this a lot.

I wish I could know the stories of the people who lived behind this walls..
Een prachtige foto is het, en het oranje-bruin vensterluik speelt hier een voorname rol in. Je moet het maar 'zien', maar je zag het !
