Description
They are getting very dopey.
This is very 'noisy', I know. I'm running short of decent shots, but the leaves are starting to turn today at last so maybe there will be a few opportunities for COLOUR!

Not just him that gets sleepy in this weather. Wonderful shot.
Wonderfully clear shot Andrea. Even the fine hairs on his back are very clear on zoom.
A super macro and lovely wood textures.
Great close up but here we call them hornets and ours are getting very sluggish also.
Super shot Andrea. Maybe he was drunk on fermenting fruit :)
Wonderful close up!! You know it's amazing how we really depend on these little insects. :)
haven't seen many this year.
Superb capture Andrea. God Bless.
Very nice capture. Well done.
Yes, it s taking a good sunbath, as long as it can :) We had 17C today :-O In some places up to 20. Amazing.
GREAT SHOT
I don't see any noise. If you want noise take another look at my images. Stellar detail on this. Is he drunk, sick or is it just the weather?
Superb POV, lighting and texture, A. Did you spray this little creature with some kind of anesthetic spray so it would land for its portrait? And I fail to detect any noise. Speaking of that, did you know that a noisy noise annoys an oyster?
An excellent capture with super detail.
Very hairy wasp and a lovely capture. Our paper wasps and yellow jackets collect wood fibers to build their nests.
They would have to be sound asleep for me to get a shot this good! Wonderful capture.
Nice close up.
