The environment is awesome with a wonderful dark lighting and the sad mood of the guy is very well set. He looks to be in a graveyard or a crypt and to have lost someone important for him. But I think he isn't really lonely. In front of him, there's a mysterious shadow who looks to have a human appearance, but maybe he's not able to see him/her.
