Description


Larus delawarensis. This is a youngster. I mentioned before we get gulls in Arizona. Here is another one. I think the Ring-billed Gull is the most common here. I found this one at Reid Park, stumbled on him quite by accident while looking for something else. Often, that's the best way to find an unusual bird.

I have to grin...they are such odd looking birds but so graceful once they are in the air. Lovely shot.
